been a while since I updated this. Turns out the ecoboost engine I was ever so excited about was absolutely fucked
plans for the conversion followed the block into the scrap bin. Anyone needing any other engine parts though, feel free to message me as I've got loads of bits!



had some gay stickers plastered up the side too. Bit of a thankyou to the old man for the numerous years of equipment and tool use.




managed to track down some 15" ATS's which will be wrapped in slicks once I manage to save some pennies up and stop spending them on parts.






I've also purchased and fitted a supposedly cammed engine from 1-PD (steve) from here. cracked the rocker cover off and the cams look oddly standard and have no additional markings on them. My and Steve's conclusion: the seller was chatting shite
that being said, it does have a load of hesitation between 2000 and 3500 revs now. I got the car dyno'd as I was worried it was leaning out.
All was well though and it pulled 3 consistent runs around the 170bhp and 140lbft region. Not bad for a 15 year old engine.






Few pics from the trip to Cadwell mid May too. Was an a proper mint day which was organised through AET motorsport. The track was packed all day with loads of mates with fast Fords









I've got Cadwell booked again for the end of July and have just booked on the Donington trackday evening with the tracktime lads. Underdog (the other Steve) is also coming, so it'll be interesting to see how the two 170's compare.
