pics from last weeks antics......

only did a total of 6 laps, but still enjoyed my time there. I had another 3 to do the night before we left, but an e92 M3 blew up half way around Brunnchen which closed the track for most of the evening.
Fastest lap came in at 9.03 using Harry's lap timer. I definitely think i'll be able to crack the 9 min barrier as i didn't feel i was trying particularly hard with it being my first time, and there was a yellow flag towards the end of the lap.

not really much to post on here of recent. Did a couple more trackdays before the year end - namely Oulton and Donington. First time at Oulton, very difficult track to get right. My friend took a bit of a detour onto the grass and had to get towed out.
Definitely need to return (i've no excuse really as it's only 40 mins away from home)
Car has been awesome and absolutely faultless . The addition of a set of black series polys all round has been brilliant. Just a shame i've not been able to push the car as hard as normal with the weather being wank.

Underdog Steve pretty much forced me into buying a set of itb's and a me221 ecu over the christmas break. Lacking the motivation to do anything, and having a missus that moans every time i want to work on the car, meant i've only just got round to fitting them.

it's pretty much all sorted now. Just a few bits and bobs to do wiring wise, and i need to configure Steve's map (which he's kindly sent me) to work with my sensor layout and injector sizes.

picture of the new daily too:

it's a kit from DanSTengineering. Steve managed to get me a bit of money knocked off too....
I've not driven it yet as i've not had it mapped. As a daily driver, i can't really say how they would be.

From what i gather, itb's aren't as progressive as the standard setup. I'm also losing the variable runner length from the standard manifold, so might suffer a bit of a power drop lower down.

cheers matey. Feels like a compltely new car!
can't wait to get it back out on track now. Unfortunately Donington was cancelled last friday due to snow - Booked Donington GP on the 21st with Circuit Days. Certainly going to be interesting doing the Melbounre loop, as i've only done the national track in the past.
