Cheers mate. Not much point in myself getting them after rethinking it, as shite weather here all the live long day and shouldn't be doing any track time until next year presumably. Have had a few moments in the wet already so hopefully with new shoes it'll be grippier! Beam should help. Have a full alignment setup booked in too. Just need to wait for my ordered parts and order the tyres. Then the fun can commence

R888 have a solid tyre wall and on my evo the ride was terrible, good for the track yes but after 2 track days they were dead and expensive to replace, I've gone for toyo proxes T1R for the cossie, good price and excellent all round tyre also very good on the track including Nurburgring, where other tyres failed the toyos did not.
Cheers mate. I'm actually thinking along the same lines as yourself and can get a good enough price on T1Rs so will probably give them a go. Good reviews mostly and they're priced right. I could get more expensive types but I'll try these first as I'm getting a deal on them already so saving myself a few quid that I wouldn't on the dearer ones. Need to get them fitted asap

Thanks for the replies, great help as per usual

Philip.
