Default Help with original radio and amplifier

I want to fit a genuine Ford Sound 2000 (FD 2006) radio/cassette player and the four channel amplifier into my '88 saph cosworth 2wd but are struggling to figure out how to connect it all together.

First question:
How is the wiring and connection between the radio and the car's wiring loom supposed to be? I believe it was fitted an aftermarket player before and the only wiring I can find in the car is a black small flat connector with 4 cables attach to it. I already have the wiring between the radio and amp.

Second question:
How is the speakers supposed to be connected to the amp? It is a connector connected to the amp but all 8 cables are snapped off. I guess I need a wiring diagram for this that shows where the RL, RR, FL and FR speaker goes into the amp connector. And are the two pins to the right of the speaker connector just + and -?

Third question:
I did bought two amplifiers just to find out that both doesn't fit straight into the 2wd centre dash. Obviously there is a difference between the amps for 2wd dash and later dash's. The difference is that the 2wd version has a cover/extension on each side and also a top extension with screw holes. Do you know if the extensions are in one piece with the amp itself or can they be dismantled from the amp?

Any pictures and info about this is warmly appreciated!
