i understand your point but I look at it the other way around, older more basic cars would be the everyday runaround/work horses with the expensive car being saved for recreational use .
the little old A class merc that I have just now is the baby AMG car that isn't really worthy of the name but its a fun cheap car and probably the first car ive had in my life that I would buy again !
