Those old crappy Facet type pumps flow feck all. That red top would barely be enough fuel to maintain supply for 250-300hp.
Above that level your swirl tank will be draining.
The above is totally correct regarding the facet pumps they are also really noisey.
I used a holley blue pump which worked really well.
My return was plumbed into the swirl pot which in some cases can be a problem due to hot fuel.
Best way as Steve has said design a new tank to use and internal pump or a 044 cossie external pump. Try someone like concept racing.
