So after replacing a failed cam belt, I'm having a bit of a problem with my ST170.
Yesterday when I re adjusted the timing, it started first time with the rocker cover off. Today when tried to start it with everything back on it won't fire up.
I've done two turns on the crankshaft and the tool slots in the cams perfect. The only thing that seems to be different is plugging in vtc solenoid . Would a knackered solenoid cause the car not to start?
