Hi Can anyone help or advise me on a problem that I am have starting my Focus.it is a bit long winded but hear go's. The car will not start as if it has a flat battery, when it is jumped started it will run without any further problems for up to a week are so. Their is nor reason why this happens, ie every thing is switch off. I have changed the Battery and alternator., but the problem is still there. 2 the next problem I have is with my Key, when I go to start the car It will not start. All dash light are on but just a click when I try to start the car. After I wait for a few minutes and retry the car starts straight away. or if I turn some thing off the like of the radio or heater the car will start. Hi Paul Allen ,my friend is having same problem with is 55 plate forcus but is instruments cluster comes on and sometimes they don't I know there is a problem on the dash he as change the starter on recommend by the AA man but the same problem as you are getting ,but have you tried the starter relay which is in fuse box under bonnet, if that doesn't cure it it could be the actual ignition switch they can wear ,have to keep my eye on this
