True there...if you have the time. A long time ago now but when I had my Mexico the float came adrift in the Weber carb. AA man stripped everything down, resoldered the float back on the arm, refitted it all and I was back on my way.

Wasn't so clever when the fibre timing gear stripped on my V6 Cortina - 300 mile AA relay took about 15 hours back then.
