Default zetec copper clutch, advice needed.

hi gentlemen!
copper clutch, advice needed.

this one would be my first "big" project, nothing fancy...

sierra sapphire 1.8cvh to 2.0 zetec silvertop conversion;
kinda daily-drifter-sleeper;
zxr9 carbs, megajolt, non turbo.
planning to have it turboed as soon as i can afford it...

opened a thread about my car in here:
https://passionford.com/forum/restor...-thinking.html

going on with:
-stock 1.8cvh flywheel,
-stock t9 gearbox,
-stock 1.8cvh to t9 starter motor.

in my hereabouts all drifters use copper clutches.
for clutch-kick abuse and further turbo conversion, i'm looking for one of 'em.
(i'll have it made, on order, by some hand-craft here in italy).

but my questions are general:
1.with a copper clutch, will i also have to change the pressure plate?
2.what are the chances that a copper clutch works fine, with a std pressure plate?

i'm asking 'cause the sierra-to-t9 "clutch pedal & cable" looks quite weak to me...
don't wanna overload 'em and can't afford an hydraulic clutch conversion neither (at the moment).

(i justify your laughs).

thank you in advance...
