After a good years I'm finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel on my escort rs turbo build. I bought an engine, loom and box running efi to make life a little easier. It's running an aftermarket cam and I can't see that some porting/polishing was done. Anyway last weekend I repainted the block and gearbox and can know think about bolting stuff back on. I wanted to check if there any must do jobs before the engine is dropped back in. I plan to do the following:

1) new sump, plug and gasket
2) new exhaust manifold gasket and manifold to turbo gasket
3) new inlet manifold gasket
4) new thermo (and gasket?)
5) swapped old starter for a newer ford tcdi one
6) new t belt, tensioner and water pump
7) new oil pump and oil filter
8) new rocker cover gasket

I also have head gasket, stretch bolts, but not sure if fit these now? Should I replace the crusty studs and nuts for inlet/exhaust manifold? Anything else I should consider?
