How do you test the fuel pump on a 2wd saff, when I turn the ignition on the pump doesn't make a noise and if you put your hand on the pump you can feel a little movement and when you crank the engine over you can feel movement but it is silent are they supposed to make a noise?

Does anyone have any things for me to check?
