Post 4x4 MT75 for mid engine installation

Hello, this is my first post on this forum.

I have a complete 2.9 4x4 Ford Sierra, a rebuilt 2.9 Cosworth Boa engine with 3 X Weber DCNF40's on bespoke manifold and I'll be using a Nodiz Pro mappable ignition.

I intend to install the BOA engine onto the sump/subframe/MT75 gearbox from the Sierra but it will be mid mounted in a 2 door Morris Minor.

As space is limited the engine and gearbox will be turned 180 degrees and I intend to use the front differential only, giving me rwd.

I have looked at the Quaife 6 1/2"LSD differential and I'm hoping that this will take the estimated 260 bhp on its own.

What I would like to know is, can the differential be inverted to allow for the change in orientation of the engine/gearbox either in its casing or does the whole differential have to be inverted? and can the viscous coupling be changed for a replacement straight shaft so that 100% of the power is transmitted to the front differential?

Would like to keep the transmission complete and convert the Morris Minor to 4 wheel drive but I would not fit in it if I went down that route and I'm really looking forward to the induction noise from triple twin choke downdraughts' just behind my ears!

Will be fabricating a new chassis.

Cheers.
