you will not be able to fit a T34 without a remap.
If you can afford a quality .wideband afr gauge now is the time.
Yep Im pretty sure its a t3, as i have the old t34 that was fitted to the car. Ive just started university so money isnt really floating about so im going to keep it the spec it is at the moment (should be 320ish i believe with the chip) and try enjoy some track days when i get the chance. - In a few years ill throw money at it with a new turbo etc, figured this would be a nice "temporary fix" to the current setup; and will hopefully reduce the current coughing and spluttering that happens if i hold the car at part throttle (which didn't help sound testing!) and will allow me to up the boost 21/19 psi i believe
Fortunately i managed to get a innovate lc1 wideband gauge last year for peanuts with two controllers so i will get that fitted properly - made a gauge mount just need to wire it up ! not sure if its the best in the world but its not a ebay special !
For the new MSD chip is there any code i can check to make sure it is what its suppose to be ( im sure it will be id just like to double check) - also will it run without the lambda plugged in ? (im presuming/ hoping it will just run in the "open loop" mode? ) - ill be going to the workshop when i get the chance to plug it in and see if its all okay, but wont be able to wire the lambda up straight away.
Setup should work well and be a night and day to the 14psi going through it at the moment !
