Thats why people buy new so they dont have hidden faults and are covered by a manufactures warrenty properly.

He should at least answer calls or emails surely? Sounds like the trader is well aware of the faults from the lack of response.

Chance you take buying a used car though,been there done it.The dealer I bought from was local though and picked up the bill for the work needed as I was at his door rather than the other end of the country.
