could have an air leak, i worked on one the other week , it was down on mpg severely there was a split pipe underneath the throttle body the ecu had auto adapted the idle so it was not giving the typical characteristics of an air leak but to be fair i could here it, once i sorted the pipe and reset the ecu it relearned all its throttle settings and customer said he was now getting the mpg he was previously

One thing that happens that I don't know if it should happen being this is my first Auto car is when I start her up she revs at around 1,600RPM then after 10 or so seconds drops to around 950rpm and stays there.....Is this normal?
