rs turbo's cossies ect are all the same thing. a 20 year old performance car is not going to be a nice car to drive on a daily basis. but as a weekend car that can do a bit of track work or a steady drive out for the day, there spot on if built right. i came close to buying an m3 recently and it dawned on me that its just a very good fast car that does everything well. but maybe a little too well to be classed as a fun weekend car. i ended up with an old skyline and my mate who drives a 530d thinks im crackers for not going for a bmw as nice as a 530d is, they dont have the kudos of a big turbo performance car, nor the sound ect ect. i suppose some people dont understand the concept of a weekend car. as far as the ebay turbo's go, the idea makes me shudder. i think a 300-350hp zetec power rst could become a fairly decent car to drive with a good mapper and the correct turbo, once handling and brakes are adressed. esp with the frs box
