If they shipped it back to him then that's where the packing stuff comes in so they could not help that apart from a nice warning label to ask the receiver of the parts to clear them or to tape the ports before packing. Unless it was from when they received the parts ready for coating?
I hand delivered the parts.
The foam chips were in there from the sender when they packed it up. Zircotec did not check for this and coated them and the foam melted into hard lumps of plastic that was stuck to the insides of the tubes.
I have to say they did a similar thing with a 2 stoke exhaust, it was a used exhaust, they did not blank the ends of when they media blasted it resulting in the pipe being full of sand and grit loads of it stuck to the inside of the pipe as well.
After much discussion they had to buy me a new exhaust.
On a positive note they have done some Ferrari V8 manifolds that have stood up very well
