Well I figured that with the car needing to be painted, the new owner would probably remove the interior to be recovered and prepare the car for paint, then whilst putting the car back together might opt for a few upgrades like braided brake hoses etc instead of the standard ones. The point of me putting it through the MOT test really was to highlight that the car really isn't in need of an endless amount of work to make it roadworthy once the shiny bits have been taken care of - it's just a genuinely great car which needs to be given it's shine back! Thanks for your point though
