Default Fuel Additive actually worked...

My Mondeo diesel daily has been smoking a lot on start up recently. It is blue smoke and it only does it first thing in the morning from cold and if left all day and then started from complete cold. I put a thread up on here a while ago and a few suggested it might be injectors (600+ quid for new ones). So I put it off and it was getting really bad up to the point where it was struggling to burn it off and stalling.

I was then clearing out my shed and I found a bottle of Millers diesel additive that I used to put in my van after a recommendation a few years ago. To my complete surprise it has totally eliminated the smoke, I couldn't believe it at first but after 2 weeks the smoke has not returned. So I thought I would put this thread up and if anyone else is having the same problems it might be worth trying before shelling out for new injectors.
