I don't know if you are all planning on fitting a turbo at a later stage. But if not, why are you all getting a 6 paddle clutch? A standard 2.9, YB, or 2.5 TD clutch will easily cope with the power of the 24v and be a lot cheaper and nicer to use.

I am told that the 2.5 TD clutch is the same as the YB (at least both 4 cylinders), so combining the 2.5 TD cover with the 2.9 plate would be ideal, if you figure the 2.9 cover is not strong enough.

As far as I know the 2.8 and 2.9 clutches are the same apart from the release bearing.
