Default wheel bearing/driveshaft problem

ok, ive got a mk4 escort, base spec btw

after driving it this morning, with the window down due to the lovely sunshine, i noticed a strange noise coming from the drivers side front hub area

its like a squeeky/ light grinding noise, which occurs all the time wen moving, and becomes louder upon acceleration and going round left corners.

my first thought was wheel bearing due to it sounding like its loading up on corners etc.

but it doesnt sound like the grinding that occured last time a wheel bearing went, this is more squeeky, if that makes sense

iv also been told it could b a driveshaft that has worked loose? im not sure on this, i dont pretend to be a mechanic so i wont try and say i know for sure.

i have noticed that my outer cv boot on the shaft does seem to be leaking slightly aswel, if this would make any difference or cause any problems. the shaft itself was replaced about 8 months ago and is not knocking at all, so i dont think its a dead shaft.

if any1 has any ideas, it would be appreciated.
