I put a post on here on sat about taking my car out for a couple of hrs & someone running up the arse end of my cossie!! (See other post 1st day out crash)
He phoned me today & asked what's what! I told him good second hand bumper (£200 from Gary rs clasics) + p&p new bumper inserts & brackets from ford (£65) & that's without paint & labour?? I got the impression he thinks I'm
Trying to have him over!!!!! As he did want just pay cash! Which I was happy with as long as the car gets sorted. Now he wants to come & see the damage to see for himself??
Would it be best for me to just ring my insurance & explain & get the ball rolling so I can get the car sorted asap?? As I'd rather not have a load of Chicken tikka experts round here telling me that a quick flick with a paint can & it will be mint!!!!
As I am a fussy f-cker about how my car looks, & would this be recorded against the car as it really is just paint at the end of day!! Cheers & thanks in advance.
