Additional bolt on parts like flanges, top plate and rear wing brackets - doubt they will be £450 through MK Motorsport now the conversion has been developed and finalised, so cheaper for fewer parts. Just as Mark.
Bara rebuild - £400, including new seals and a Weir Performance MaxGrip Stage 1 LSD kit (providing you don't need new bearings, which most diffs don't. A lot of diffs don't need rebuilds, but sensible to do so).
So you're well in budget compared to a weaker Quaife on a smaller Cosworth diff. And really in budget when compared to a 9" motorsport diff. If you've spent well over £1k then you've been had or the diff you have was extremely poorly. For those that have stuck with the process from the start, well that just sods law really. The conversion needed to be tested on all levels to ensure its reliability, so money needed to be spent. At the end of the day, cars with less than 500 bhp don't need the cover and the original kit is adequate enough.
Cochyn I thought you were banned on here? You say people have been had if they have spent 1k plus but that's rubbish, the diff fitted is going to cost you at least 1400.
