Yes that looks more like what I though you were talking about, it lives under the inlet manifold on the RS Turbo so I assume it is in a similar location on the XR3i. I doubt you will be able to buy a new one any where, however you should be able to find a good used one, annoyingly I had one attached to a manifold which I binned recently other wise you could have had it for free

For your info, and to help the search they were also fitted to Porsche 924's and some 944.
