have a read. It basically lowers control pressure which raises fuel pressure to injectors when the engine is cold, as the engine warms up the bi-metalic strip inside the regulator changed and in turn raises control pressure to lower fuel pressure as it's no longer needing extra fuel for warm up.
does the car start, run for a few seconds...cut out then is very difficult to re-start or doesn't start again until it's cold? if so....thats the problem i'd bank on.
p.s. an easy way to check if injectors are working and at a decent pressure is to bridge the relay so fuel pump runs, push the metering flap down and the injectors let off a "squeel" as fuel flow through at high pressure.
cheers mate what your describing is my symptoms exactly.starts when cold runs for a bit then it can be very difficult to start and if you do get it gong you have to be constantly on throttle to keep it going .so which part exactly is the warm up regulator the little box in front of the inlet manifold with 2 fuel lines going to it? i have been adjusting the co screw and thats probably not helped at all either if thats not been the issue in the first place , cheers matty
