Some of the quotes these days are mad, I passed January 2013 and I was on a box for a year....God it was boring, I don't drive excessively over the speed limit but that thing took all the fun out of driving! I paid 1300 on first year for MK5 fiesta 1.3, this year I'm paying 711 same car but I managed to milk direct line for their deals. My Mum has a policy for both car and home insurance so got multicar and all. For some reason though, it's over 100quid more to insure a Mk3 Fiesta 1.1 than a MK5 ZS.....Stupid really. We are expected to pass one of the hardest tests, spend a fortune on that then astronomical insurance!
