tbh fella the mk1 frs is awesome its much more in touch with the old skool feel of fords proper hatch's, it is simply an epic car nothing like an ST, the ST is simply more metal, less aggressive and made for the sensible chap who aint looking for warp speed everywhere..
I test drove a few before the ST and one in perticular had a silly valve fitted, it really was like jumping back to the good old days, proper woooooosh ptssssssshhhhh hahaha i loved it, but the ST's million airbags sold it to me as its for family needs sadly otherwise the mk1 would(still might...)be here.
The MK2 RS is tbh a different animal all together, you cant really compare it to either rs or st, the ST is a lazy fat mule compared to both, but the mk2 rs for me atleast was a bit too showy and no 5th seat but again if i were single id have it but for me atleast not over a mk1 rs thats the daddy to me
ST is an awesome car if you respect its purpose, it does family very well, and destroys A roads when you fancy some late night loonacy
Do it fella you get alot of motor for your money
