No its exactlly the same as the old one. 2 were made back in 2004 for myself & Ranj. He didnt proceed with his build so i purchased the crank as a spare. Arrow who bought out DKR dont make a crank of this type or throw these days. The old one survived the famous 'crack block' situation & was still in manufacturers Spec afterwards
so proved how strong it was.
