MTX and IB5 (non Duratec-HE!) share the same bolt pattern. There can be minor differences in oil sumps as mentioned above.
Yes, you could change the clutch bellhousings BUT you'll have to take the whole gearbox apart and this is a pro job. But why?

If they shame the same bolt pattern then there is no point in swapping them. Im trying to find a box that matches the silver top zetec engine that i can bolt to the rear half of the ib5 box to retain the original mounts.
It seems to be the top sump part that doesnt match.
Is there a solution or just use the bolts holes that match?
