Hi guys

I've bought a e46 convertible off a friend it's a cat d from the insurance company and it needs a vic check. It's literally a small dent in rear quarter and bumpers cracked! I've got some questions.

I've read that they don't actually look at work they just check the identity is this correct?

Can I drive the car until the vic check?

I know I can't tax the motor until a vic checks done it dosent need taxing till June anyway.


Any help would be much appreciated
