Default Mk1 Escort Brakes

I have a Mk1 escort running AP 4 pots on the front with cosworth rear calipers & discs.
Bias pedal box with girling master cylinders.

I have been having alot of trouble bleeding which i put down to bad master cylinders which were changed, and now i get a firm pedal but it has a long travel. its near the floor before it has any affect.

They do lock the hubs, but is near to the floor.

i am sure that all the air is out, and have would the rear calipers up fully to take up any slack.

How do you fine tune the calipers or take up the slack when the pads wear.

Any ideas on long pedal travel and the cause.
Need so assistance on what to do next.

Many thanks
