Does your Puma have the extra plastic cover above the pollen filter housing? They introduced that to (some of) the later ones as they must have known leaves turn to mush easily down there..
Might be an idea to see if the housing itself doesn't have a split / crack in it as not much moisture should really get in there.
checked all that out Dal as you could see it was old 100% no doubt, perhaps they forgot to look under the cover
, but changed the plugs filters and oil and they were all spot on
heres the engine bay and its spotless
