When I had my xr4i about 15 yrs ago, I once left the keys in the ignition overnight and once left the keys and facia from the stereo on the roof for about 6 hrs. Both times untouched, and we lived on a busy street. We (my brother and I) were on quite good terms with most of the blaggards around here,so I can only come to the conclusion that they wouldn't go near it purely for the fact that they knew us and we knew them. And we have no reputation to speak of, so it's not like they feared us or anything.
