ive got a xr2 with a ts turbo engine

motorsport development chip for spec
beige injectors
t3 with 360 degree bearing

now when you start it from cold u get a rattle noise (normal for the 1st couple of seconds)

but theres a rattling noise there faintly at idle but when u touch the throtle (or go flat out) its worse

i baught the engine off a mate who got it and had been fully rebuilt ( looked clean all ports were mint down the bores was clean aswell obv had been apart)

would the tappets still be noisey even underload and at 3-4000 rpm ?
