The other one that's ok is a length of pipe,blocked with a slit cut into it into a jam jar full of brake fluid,costs about £3 from any decent brake hose seller.
Foot bleeding always works 100% for me,often from systems that have lost a lot of fluid due to standing etc.
Also there's some dispute as regards whether to do the fronts or backs first,I've always done fronts first then backs but been told this was incorrect.
When we tried the other way round in the garage on advice it just didnt work and we ended up going front to back,worked spot on.
Each to their own I suppose.
Run the master dry on a lot of cars, then you could have 20 people helping and it wouldnt make a difference ( unless you can hook them all up to a pipe and make them suck or blow )
Likewise cars with ABS can sometimes be awkward. Either a pressure or vacuum bleeder is the only way.
Plus it is one man operated and far far easier.
