Ok, to start. Back in march i bought a 2001 Impreza UK300. It had some paintwork done just prior to me buying it and some of the lacquer is a bit dull so i want to cut it back and get it all nice and shiny, also to remove swirls and the odd light scratch.
But i am very new to this and dont quite know how to go about it!
What i have done so far is:
Snowfoam with autoraechem cherry snow foam and rinse
Wash with dodojuice sour power shampoo, rinse
Claybar
Thats where im at now.
Next step is to order some gtechnic p1 polish and get a rotary polisher, but what pads to you use for what?
Im looking at these from toolstation but dont know what i need to apply the p1 with, and what to remove it with

Next after that is to wax? I have some dodojuice blue velvet, so would that be applied by hand, then buffed with a lambswool bonnet on the polisher?
For the wheels, i have some carpro iron x, so lash that on and jet off, tar remover, clay, clean with ipa and then ill buy some cquartz wheel stuff as per the other wheel sealer thread, i understand that comes with the aplicator pad.
Does this sound ok?
As for the p1 polishing, do you use the blue tape on the panel edges to stop you taking all the paint off the egdes of them?
A step by step how to would be good if anyone can take the time.
My mate had his frs professionly done, and the finish looks like glass and is very slick to touch, im after a similar result but not sure if you get that feel just from a wax?
I also have the missus cmax to do, so cant justify £700 to have both cars done properly, and gonna have to diy it!
Any help and info will be great thanks chaps
