Originally the car was built with a Silver Top engine. It was decided to change to a Black Top for the better flowing head and solid lifters but the crazy exhaust manifold I've got fouled the water pump:
Also the idler we had to turn the water pump the other way hit the water rail and although we could have modified it or changed it for another I didn't like the clumsiness of the set up, so we decided to make a Silver Top water pump fit!
So now I have this head waiting to fit with uprated cams fitted and Cat Cams valve springs and retainers. The head is on standard ports and the idea is to crack 400bhp with it.
