Sorry to hear that you had been knocked off your bike, never a good experience. But hopefully you're on the mend and have been back on bikes since.

This should be added to the register once the Insurer had paid you for the vehicle, as they usually send the paperwork to DVLA in relation to the vehicle being a total loss.

The vehicle aspect (ie. repair/total loss) will usually be treated separately from the injury, but it is feasible that they may have left this outstanding pending the settlement of the whole claim.
