The bottom pulley was replaced at the same time as the Aux tensionner - so I doubt it has got so worn it's just spinning. But still worth checking.
Timing chains do slip, but it's rare, and I would expect it to be smokey, and lumpy on tickover. Have you had the fault codes read?
I know you had the belt and pulley done mate, so cant beleave it would fail that quickly. but will check with belt off.
Defo no smoke, and tick over is as good as the day i got it from you mate.
Not had fault codes read, didnt know it would pick anything up as theres no managment light up. guess its a trip to fords? not sure i know anyone who might be able to check it for me
The rattle i can live with, as i know they do make a racket, its the loss of torque thats worrying me..
