Default Do I need to change my std fuel pump for a stage 2 EFI ERST?

Hello,

I’ve just mounted an stage 2 (195+ superchip OFAC and beiges) on my EFI converted ERST and the car is running with 11.60 psi and pikes till 14.50 psi. When I tested the car in the motorway I noticed that at high revs the engine failed slightly when the throttle was fully opened.

I think that I have a correct reading of the fuel pressure (3.5 bar, 50.76psi) but I think there is not enough fuel flow. I have the std fuel pump and it is too noisy.

Could be a problem with the fuel pump? I was considering in remove it and buy sierra cosworth’s one.

Any advice would we really appreciated.

Cheers.
