There exactly the same barring some very minor revisions, there are two different 'phases' of this engine, denoted 1 and 2 respectively.
You have the phase 1, it should have "Zetec-S" written on the cam cover? (This is where the Fiesta with the same name derived from, as that model borrowed the engine) the phase 2 came along later and as you say that has Zetec-SE written on the cam cover.
I suspect yours is a MK1 Focus (with the indicators in the bumpers) pre facelift or MK 1.5 in other words?
The 1.4, again, is the same engine, just smaller capacity, as is the 1.25 found in Fiestas, there was also a 1.7 version of the engine which was fitted to Pumas.
