My Mondeo developed an injector fault so my mate who has a garage offered to sort it out for me as he had a Mondeo sitting there that he could take an injector off.

He changed injector 1 (which he's now not sure if injector 1 means passenger or driver side) but he said the one he took out had a short threar and a seal but the one out of the other car had a longer thread with no seal.

The car is now showing 6 faults, does the injector have to be the same? I would have thought so.
