i have a 2000 1.6 hatchback,

i need to replace the drivers side hub, are the 1.4 and 1.6 hubs the same,

and im thinking of replacing the engine for another 1.6 lower milage, mines 142000mile, the swap will be easy enough for me, can you swap the engines without swaping ecus aswel, and does it matter weather the engine is from a hatchback or a saloon, because saloons are easier to find in a 1.6
