risk is part of life, get over it. The statistical chance of these increased chases massively killing loads of innocents is actually pretty unlikely.
If the level of risk taken by police to forceably stop criminals running is acceptable in many other western developed nations (including many close european countries) then quite frankly i see no reason why its not acceptable here.

Do what they do in america, if a cop or innocent is hurt or killed in a crash then add assault or manslaughter to the charges. As well as make them pay for ALL the damage caused.
the cunts wont like it with no benefits and £150k of debt hanging over them for decades all because they caused a chase that wrote off 3 traffic cars when t-pac'd.

I'm in no way saying the cops should do nothing, I can understand they also have a duty of care towards the general public not too cause any more danger through chasing hardened career criminals who clearly have absolutely no regard for the safety of others.
these cunts are joy riders.
they were already driving well past the safe limit long before the police turn and follow them. They drive like total cunts for the thrill. Stopping them ASAP will reduce the risk.
After a chase, they will just do it all again the next night putting more people at risk.
they cant do that if they died in a police chase the night before or if they are lucky they were on remand instead for being caught.
