is mfi worth persisting with or should i be looking to convert to efi and be done with it

i dont want a mega power rst, just want something i can fire up and go for a blast in with my son.

mine currently takes forever to start and when it does start runs like crap, i know a good setup on it would do it the world of good but i currently have the dash out getting the alarm all fitted up and lots of odds and ends sorted out so not an option at the second really

so the question is where should i be focusing my energys on i ask the veteran rs owners? id prefer to stay cvh at this time
