i have been talkinig to dominic and i am going to buy a 2nd hand engine jim with all the right parts on it, i would like a mountune engine as it will have the right cams and springs ect i am hopeing? , i will get dominic to re build it top and tail ect and re do turbo ect and what ever is needed , this will work out cheeper for my pocket .
what i am trying to work out is can i save the cost on mappinig on a dyno, i was wandering could a mapper come to me .
i no dominic has someone that he uses that can come to his place . but i wanted to find out whos out there thats good ,
i no i can send engine to the likes of your dad for mapping then it can be checked in car , dominic built a brand new engine for a local man for a wrc fiesta that engine was mapped by julian godferry then checked in car , i cant say 100% but i dont think every engine he builds is mapped on dyno, mabie it differant if it a total new build in stead of a re build of a old engine thats got a map and all .
i seen a wrc mountune engine for sale on t62000 , i think it was mapped by tommy field.

thanks steven
