What has this got to do with mine totally different distances. I have to go & stop in 1.5 miles. Certainly mine has the Power to hit 236mph on the gas in circa 3 miles if it held together. If i was in that game Mark would have supplied me with an engine to do it. Mine is simply a road car that goes fast not a Topspeed car that was built & designed to run over longer distances.
My gearing has to allow incredible accleration to 200+ to actually get up to those speeds. Given a 3 mile straight, gearing would be vastly different.
Mine is a compromise I have to pull 1000rpm over peak Power to have the
accleration to reach record speeds if i could have 1000rpm more on the gearing i would be hitting 236mph + at peak power . Doubt Mark would want another 40secs at wot so its purely accademic.
