Plenty of choice on the market.
However if you drive for a living youd be better off with the 3 or 4 camera systems especially if its a big vehicle as some cunt will claim you scrapped them etc and a forward facing only camera may not show enough of the scene to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. all round cameras will show almost everything.
For individuals just commuting etc a single camera will be enough when you consider the lower mileage you do compared to commercial and professional drivers.

you have to be careful with the cheap chinese crap as its hit and miss.
even things in the same apparent casing and box arent necessarily the same item electronically.
You need to find a good manufacturer/supplier and make sure youre getting the same model/version.
Often if you dont want the hassle, just spend £60-80 for a branded one with garuntee etc.
