There is an app for iPhone, it was on 5th Gear recently. Mount your iPhone facing out and it records a loop and using the phones accelerometer in an impact it will save what it records. Couple of quid I think.
But dare you risk touching the phone at any point whilst in the car, or you will have the entire police force ready to attack you for committing such a heinous crime !
